A Very Special Custom Prize Crane for a Joint 4th Birthday Party
We’re used to creating custom games and branded entertainment for clients across the UK, but every now and again we get to work on something a little closer to home.
This fully custom prize crane was created for a very special joint 4th birthday party – including our Director’s son, Finley.
A Prize Crane Made Just for the Party
Rather than simply supplying one of our standard prize machines, we decided to give this one the full InHouse treatment.
Our in-house team created a completely bespoke design for the prize crane to tie in with the theme of the birthday party. From the main machine graphics through to the finishing touches, everything was designed to make the crane feel like it had been created specifically for the occasion.
And, of course, we couldn’t send it out empty.
The machine was filled with prizes for the children to win throughout the party, turning it into both a great-looking feature and an interactive part of the entertainment.
As you can imagine, it proved extremely popular!
Not Just for Exhibitions and Brand Activations
We regularly provide branded prize crane hire for exhibitions, corporate events, promotional activations and product launches, but this project showed just how well the same concept can work for private parties and celebrations.
Prize cranes naturally attract attention. There’s something about trying to grab that perfect prize that gets both children and adults involved, and because the machines can be completely customised, they can become part of the overall event theme rather than simply being another piece of equipment in the room.
For birthday parties, that could mean personalised graphics featuring names and ages, artwork designed around the party theme and prizes selected specifically for the guests.
Designed and Printed In-House
One of the biggest advantages of our custom prize crane hire service is that the branding is handled by our own team.
We design and produce our graphics in-house, giving us much greater control over the finished product and allowing us to work to tight turnaround times when required.

A Little More Personal Than Our Usual Jobs
Naturally, this particular build meant a little more to us than most.
Seeing something our team would normally produce for clients being enjoyed by Finley and his friends at his joint 4th birthday party was brilliant – although it also meant the pressure was on to make sure the boss's son's machine looked the part!
It was a great example of what our team does best: taking an idea, creating the artwork, producing everything in-house and turning a piece of event equipment into something completely bespoke.
Most importantly, the children absolutely loved it.
