Custom Branded Surf Simulator Activation for AFC Bournemouth
We recently had the pleasure of designing, building and delivering a completely bespoke Surf Simulator activation for AFC Bournemouth, creating an eye-catching interactive experience that certainly made an impact.
The brief called for something fun, engaging and fully branded – and with a super-fast turnaround required, our in-house team got straight to work.
Designed, Printed & Built In-House
One of the biggest advantages of working with InHouse Ents is our ability to manage almost the entire activation process under one roof.
For the AFC Bournemouth activation, our team designed and produced a fully branded backboard to create a fantastic backdrop for the surf simulator. We also created a custom-built branded cover for the surfboard itself, transforming the simulator into a completely bespoke piece of branded entertainment.
All of the graphics were designed and printed by our own in-house production team, allowing us to work quickly and maintain complete control over the finished product.
With a tight deadline to work towards, having our own design, print and production facilities meant there was no waiting around for multiple external suppliers. From receiving the brief through to producing the finished activation, our team was able to turn the entire project around incredibly quickly.
From Our Workshop to Bournemouth
We don't just design and manufacture our activations – we can take care of the delivery and installation too.
Once production was complete, our event team loaded the surf simulator and bespoke branding before travelling to Bournemouth to deliver, install and operate the activation.
This meant AFC Bournemouth had one team looking after the project from the initial concept right through to the live event.

Creating an Activation People Wanted to Try
The finished surf simulator looked fantastic and, more importantly, proved to be a huge hit with guests.
Participants could step onto the custom-branded surfboard and see how long they could stay on as the simulator put their balance to the test. It created plenty of competition, laughs and memorable moments throughout the activation.
The feedback from the event was fantastic, with everyone having a great time and the simulator generating exactly the type of interaction and engagement the activation was designed to achieve.
