Hosting a party for kids can be exciting, but it can also be stressful. The list of things you need to do can seem never-ending, and there always seems to be something else that needs to be taken care of.
To help make your children’s party planning experience more enjoyable, we have compiled a list of tips that will ensure your party is a huge success and a memorable experience for all the little guests.
1. Plan ahead: Start planning at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Planning early ensures that you have enough time to source for suppliers, pick a venue, and send out invitations. The earlier you start the planning process the more chance you have of securing the right entertainment and venue.
2. Choose a Theme: Children love themes. Pick a theme that the kids will enjoy, and make sure all the decorations, activities, and games are based on the chosen theme. Did you know we can theme your bouncy castle hire?
3. Invitations: Send out invitations at least 2-3 weeks before the party. Make sure your invitations include all relevant information such as date, time, venue, and dress code (if any). We actually have some already designed you can print off - just drop us an email through the contact us page and we can send them over.
4. Games and Activities: Plan fun games and activities that are relevant to the chosen theme. Hire an entertainer, or inflatable bouncy castle if possible, or if you have the skill, you could take on the role of the party entertainer yourself. We’ve actually got a whole range of bouncy castles and inflatable games available to hire.
5. Food and drinks: The type of food and drinks you serve at your child’s party depends on the time of the day, the age of the children, and the theme of the party. Finger foods, cupcakes, and juice are popular options. Just remember not to go too overboard because the reality is with so many exciting activities happening children won’t eat a full meal!
6. Party Favors: Party favors are a great way to make kids feel appreciated. Choose age-appropriate party favors that align with the party theme. Consider getting party favor bags, including sweets, small toys, and treats.
7. A goodie bag: Preparing a goodie bag of small toys, treats, and souvenirs to take home with them is a great way to leave a lasting impression on the children and make them feel special.
8. Safety First: With all the party excitement, it’s important to put safety first. Ensure that the venue is child-proofed and safe. Have a first-aid kit and sanitize frequently to prevent germs. If you are booking any inflatables make sure that you are booking from a reputable company that has all their equipment Safety Tested Annually - We’ve written another help guide about this here
With these tips, you can create a memorable and stress-free party for your little ones. Remember, it's all about fun, and the party is one way of creating happy memories for your children. If we can help in any way then get in touch with the team today, or book online :-)
